Meet the Teacher
Hello! My name is Jennifer Krider and I am so excited to be your child's first-grade teacher this year! This is my fifth year teaching, and my fourth year with Literacy First. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the LFCS family. This year will be extra special for me since my youngest son will also be in first-grade this year at the LA, and my oldest son will be starting 6th grade at the JA.

I am a San Diego native, and cannot imagine living anywhere else. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two sons, baking, reading, and trying out new board games. I also love coffee, trivia, and traveling when possible.

I am looking forward to having a wonderful year getting to know my students, their families, and building a fun, safe classroom community. Here's to a wonderful 2022-2023 school year!
